San Francisco, USA, Feb 27th, 2023, Amerisolar Asia Pacific (hereinafter called Amerisolar AP) announced the maximum power of Amerisolar AP HJT modules have reached 700W+ with efficiency above 22.53%.
HJT(Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thinfilm) composed of two materials with PN junction between crystalline silicon and amorphous silicon thin film decides higher open circuit voltage and correspondingly higher efficiency. Compared to PERC cell (back cover with efficiency from 80% to 85% of the front one ), double glass efficiency of HJT is able to reach around 95% determined by the structure itself.
In addition to outstanding conversion efficiency, HJT modules are LID (Light Induced Degradation) free guaranteeing the longer lifespan of products. Furthermore, the temperature co-efficiency of conventional mono cells is -0.42%, by contrast, that of HJT is only -0.25%.
